A Contemporary Landscape Framed in Greenery

This design pairs contemporary architecture with intentional, layered planting. At the front and side of the house, a restrained palette frames the walkway and porch, balancing lush greenery with crisp hard edges. Plantings are chosen to work seamlessly with architectural lighting while screening utilities and window wells in a subtle, elegant way.

In the backyard, a smooth transition from the multi-level deck leads into a private garden at grade. Structured Hornbeams and Yews provide enclosure, while Japanese Maple, Dogwood, and ornamental grasses add texture and movement. The shed is integrated into the design with clear circulation, and softened fence lines ensure the garden feels enclosed yet connected to its surroundings.
